Records concerning the investigation of alleged violations of the state's ethical practices law, including board findings, correspondence, memoranda, reports, legal documents, and related papers. The majority cover cases involving fair campaign practice regulations. Most of the cases appear to have been settled out of court. Many of the files were created under the board's predecessor, the Ethical Practices Board (1975-1997). A file list for the 1976-1992 files, prepared by the board, is found in the first folder of these records.
